The Parlor
The back room.
Past the last row of cabinets there is a door, and behind it a lamp, a felt table and a fresh deck. Cards, tiles and boards, made in-house like everything else here. Nothing flashes, nothing hurries you, and nobody is waiting for your seat.
Today’s daily run is out on the floor (Phosphor Parry). In here, every table deals a fresh hand.

House rules
- One deal a day. The daily deal is shuffled from the date, so everyone sits down to the same cards. Play it as often as you like; your best hand counts.
- Every hand can be checked. Moves are written down as moves, so a ranked hand is replayed card by card before it reaches a board.
- Undo and hints cost nothing. The computer plays fair: it never sees your cards and the deck is never stacked.
- No stakes. Bids and pegs are goals, not wagers. Nothing here is bought, won or gambled.
