Maker’s note
Sowing games are some of the oldest in the world, and the six-pit, four-seed version with captures and extra turns is the one most people learn first. Ours is carved wooden pits and coloured seeds drawn in code. The line-up is seeded: the same three opponents for everyone each day, the hard one planning extra-turn chains, and your score counts the margin in your store. Ranked play is the day's seeded line-up of computer opponents, easiest to hardest: wins, winning margin and fewest moves score points, a quick finish earns a small time bonus, and every undo or hint costs points. Each run is stored as a list of moves, so the server replays the whole set, the opponents' replies included, before it counts. The free game lets you pick Easy, Medium, Hard or two players on one device (two-player games are unranked).

Your hands
Your best ten are kept in this browser with your three initials. Nothing is uploaded unless you submit a ranked hand, so clearing site data clears the list.
