Delete a Score
Beta Beta. Last updated 27 October 2026
You can take your score off a leaderboard at any time. There are no accounts, so the receipt code you were shown when you submitted is the key.
If you still have your browser data
Open your Passport and find Your submitted scores. Every score you submitted from this browser is listed there with a Delete button, and a Delete all button for the lot. Deleting removes the score from every board and deletes its input recording immediately; the row itself is purged within 7 days.
If you lost your receipt code
Email hello@eracade.com with as much of this as you can: the game, whether it was a daily, weekly or open run and the date, the initials, the score, and roughly what time (with your time zone) you submitted. If you have the entry ID (it starts with e_) or the receipt code, include it. We will match it to the board, delete it, and reply to confirm. We aim to reply within a few days and always within one month.
We may ask a question that only the person who played the run could answer, so that nobody can remove someone else’s score by guessing.
What gets deleted
- The board row (initials and score) and its input recording, immediately.
- The deleted row is purged completely within 7 days.
- Network hashes used for abuse prevention are never tied to your name and are deleted within 48 hours in any case (this includes the hash stored with a report).
Your device key and receipt codes live only in your browser (see Cookies and Local Storage). Clearing your browser data removes them but does not delete scores already on the board, so delete first if you want both gone.

How scores are stored is set out in the Privacy Policy. To report someone else’s offensive initials, use the Report link on the leaderboards.
