Maker’s note
Spider patience was the long-haul sibling of the family card game: two decks, ten columns, and a table that keeps filling up until you find the thread. We dealt our own: our own faces on a felt table, a daily deal everyone gets in the same order, and a one-suit day to ease in. Every move is written down as a move, not a mouse position, so a cleared table can be checked card by card and the fastest clean weave of the day earns its place on the board.
