Summit Run
A staircase of three peaks, twenty-eight cards and a stock to turn from. Play any open card one rank above or below the waste, keep your run going, and take the top card of each peak for a summit bonus. Every daily and weekly deal can be cleared. The daily keeps Ace and King apart; the weekly lets them touch.

Maker’s note
Peaks solitaire is a game of runs: one good turn of the stock and a dozen cards fall in a row. Ours is a staircase, a small spur, a middle peak and a high peak, with a pennant on each summit card until you take it. The stock starts closed, so the first move is always a turn. Before a daily or weekly deal goes out it is searched to be sure it can be cleared, so a lost game is always your own. Every play is recorded as a move, so the best climb of the day can be replayed card by card.
