Lighthouse Letters
Guess a hidden phrase one letter at a time. Every right letter shows up wherever it appears; every wrong one burns a measure of lamp oil. Light all three lamps before the oil runs out. The daily phrases are the same for everyone.

How to play
- Type letters or tap the keys.
- Arrows + Enter also work.
- ? asks for a hint (-10).
- Esc pauses.
On touch
- Tap the letters on the keyboard.
- Tap Hint if you are stuck.
- Tap End twice to finish.
Every run starts on the title screen. Pause any time with P or the pause button; calm mode removes flashes and screen shake.
Maker’s note
A phrase game, not a single-word one: two to five words per puzzle, taken from a hand-written bank of 240+ friendly sayings about the sea, weather, farms, gardens and kitchens. Six measures of oil per phrase (five on the weekly set, which has four phrases). Points come from the oil you keep and how fast you light the lamp; a hint costs ten. Every guess is one logged move, so a typed run and a tapped run are scored the same way.
