Seek & Scribe
A word search themed on one of our museum halls. Mark the first and last letter of each hidden word on the grid. The daily puzzle is a 10 by 10 grid with eight words running right, down or diagonally; the weekly is a 12 by 12 grid with ten words that can run any way.

How to play
- Click or tap the first letter, then the last letter (or drag across the word).
- Arrows move the cursor, Enter marks a letter, X cancels.
- H hint, T word list, Q end.
On touch
- Tap the first letter, then the last letter of a word, or drag your finger across it.
- Hint shows where a word starts.
- Words switches the list to letter counts.
Every run starts on the title screen. Pause any time with P or the pause button; calm mode removes flashes and screen shake.
Maker’s note
Each found word pays 60 plus 10 for every letter. A line that is not on the list costs 8, a hint costs 15, and finding every word adds 150 plus up to 120 for speed (full marks inside two minutes). The theme and the grid come from the seed, so the daily puzzle is the same for everyone. Free play can switch to the weekly size before the first mark. Every mark is recorded as a logical move, so the server replays the whole run. Word lists are hand written and kid safe.
