Maker’s note
Ranked runs are always you against the seeded CPU. Rows pay 100 times the square of the rows cleared, plus 50 for each junk row you send; a match win pays 1,000 times the match number plus a speed bonus. Top out and the run is over. The pressure timer drops a junk row on both wells every 24 seconds and gravity speeds up, so every match ends. Piece order and the CPU's slips come from the seed, and both wells get the same pieces. Two-player games are never ranked.
