How to play

  • Click or tap a loose piece, then its place on the card (or drag it across).
  • Arrows + Enter pick up and place, X cancels.
  • H hint, V peek at the picture, [ and ] flip tray pages, Q end.
  • P to pause.

On touch

  • Tap a loose piece, then the spot you think it fits, or drag it onto the card.

Every run starts on the title screen. Pause any time with P or the pause button; calm mode removes flashes and screen shake.

Maker’s note

Eight postcards, one for each Eracade era, are painted entirely in code: a green vector screen, a neon arcade marquee, a 16-bit sunset, an early-web desktop, a glossy flash scene, a one-tap pillar run, a chunky indie pocket card and a daily-puzzle tile board. The seed picks the card, cuts the jigsaw outlines and shuffles the tray, so everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day. Each right placement is 10 points, a wrong spot costs 3, a hint costs 10 and finishing the card pays a 100 point bonus plus a time bonus. Peek is free, but it does not help your clock. Every placement is stored as a logical move, so the server replays the whole run before it counts, and a log only replays under its own day.
