Maker’s note
The backing track is scheduled from the same clock that moves the notes, so the beat you hear and the note you hit can never drift apart. Every chart is generated from the daily seed, one note at a time, so a single thumb can play all of it and the leaderboard is fair on a phone. The first bars are plain quarter notes on purpose, because the best feeling in the genre is your first clean run of eight.
