Pogo Pilgrim
A pilgrim on a spring-loaded pogo stick crosses ruined ledges to a shrine. The stick stores your landing energy: springy pads chain higher hops, mud stops you dead, ice slides, spikes bite. One button, real momentum.

Designer’s note
One button and a spring is not much of a control scheme, which is exactly why it works. The stick keeps the energy of every landing, so a good chain of hops is something you build up, not something you are handed. Every gap is generated to be crossable, because nothing sours a platformer like an unfair jump.

Dithered sunsets, parallax hills and more colours than anyone knew what to do with.
